Hunger Relief: Each year they donate more than $265 million in food to food banks, pantries and other agencies that are on the frontlines in the fight against hunger in America. Each of their 2,300+ stores continuously support hunger relief efforts through in-store food drives or through fundraising campaigns in conjunction with Albertsons Companies Foundation, their nonprofit.

  • They actively seek out organizations that work to ensure that every child in America has access to a healthy breakfast every day. If your organization is working in this space, they request that you fill out an application. Upon review of your application, they may invite you to participate in their annual RFP in the fall.

Disaster Relief: When their neighborhoods are struck by disaster, their employees and stores respond by reaching out to their neighborhood’s citizens and addressing their needs. In 2017 alone, when hurricanes and wildfires destroyed parts of our nation, their stores rallied to raise more than $17 million as well as food and supplies to assist first responders and the people in neighborhoods who were left devastated.
