Corporate Funding: Due September 2019

The following corporate funding opportunities have deadlines in September 2019.

Gilead Sciences Research Scholars Program in Hematology/Oncology – Deadline: 9/6/19

  • Support innovative scientific research that will advance knowledge in the field of hematology/oncology, with a focus on hematologic malignancies, and provide support for research career development
  • The program provides financial support to 3 junior faculty researchers for a 2-year period. Each award is funded up to USD130,000 (inclusive of any indirect costs), to be paid in annual installments of up to USD65,000 per year for 2 years.

Pfizer: Translating the Atopic Dermatitis (AD) Yardstick into Practice – Deadline: 9/10/19

  • Individual projects requesting up to $350,000 will be considered.

Facebook Request for Proposals for Research to Improve Ad Experiences – Deadline: 9/11/19

  • Interested in supporting research to help us deepen our understanding of people’s ad experiences on Facebook and Instagram
  • Facebook will grant awards of up to $50K USD per awardee to fund projects of up to one year in duration.

Food Lion Feeds – Deadline: 9/15/19

  • Foundation grants are focused on feeding the hungry and nutrition education and are accepted bi-annually
  • The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation limits grant awards to organizations based in or providing support in the 10 states in which we operate (within a 20 mile radius of a Food Lion store): Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Alaska Air Foundation – Deadline: 9/15/19

  • A limited number of cash grants ranging on average from $5,000 to $15,000 are given to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations classified as public charities in Alaska, Hawai’i, and Washington. These grants should focus on educational and workforce development efforts that address a unique need or add value to a community.

Gilead Sciences: HBV CARE (Linkage to CARe & Epidemiology in Special Populations) – Deadline: 9/15/19

  • This program will fund approximately six projects with a total commitment of US $1M focused on improving linkage to care among underserved population and analyzing or identifying data gaps in HBV epidemiology in specific demographics or geographies. Applications will be accepted from August 1 to September 15, 2019.

Les Paul Foundation Grants – Deadline: 9/15/19

  • Preference is given to programs that relate to music innovation, engineering, and medical research.

Gilead Sciences COMPASS: Transformative Grant – Deadline: 9/23/19

  • Focus on supporting the development and implementation of programs and activities that address three programmatic focuses of the COMPASS Initiative®: Organizational capacity building; Wellness, mental health, trauma-informed care, substance use and telehealth; and HIV-related stigma reduction.
  • Applicants must be located in and provide services in one of the nine “Deep South” states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas)
  • The maximum amount an applicant can request is $100,000.

Moleskin Open Innovation Program – Deadline: 9/24/19

  • Provides the opportunity for start-ups and scale-ups to draw on the expertise of an international brand, develop ideas and insights, and reach a global market.
  • The solution has to support creative professionals and knowledge workers, meeting their needs and expectations.

T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge – Deadline: September 26, 2019

  • Open to any young person between the ages of 13 when applying and 23 by December 1, 2019
  • Submit projects in one of three categories: technology, environment, and education.
  • Top teams get mentorship, up to $10,000 in funding, and a paid trip to the Changemaker Lab at T-Mobile HQ. Grand-prize winners return in 2020 to supercharge their work.

The Mosaic Company Foundation Grants – Deadline: 9/27/19

  • Focus our investments in three core areas: Food, Water and Local Community Investments. Applicants must be located in geographic areas surrounding Mosaic locations and offices, unless seeking a global or national partnership.

ON Semicoductor Grants – Deadline: 9/30/19

  • Our Giving Priorities: Environment; Disaster relief; Health; Human services; Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education

General Motors Grant Funding – Deadline: 9/30/19

  • In addition to its commitment to Detroit through Hometown Giving, General Motors is focused on global social impact through its three strategic giving focus areas: (1)STEM Education, (2)Vehicle & Road Safety and (3)Sustainable Communities.

Suburu of America Foundation – Deadline: 9/30/19

  • Subaru of America Foundation, Inc. seeks partnerships with organizations committed to helping un- and low-employed young people become self-sufficient through job training, mentoring, and work experience leading to obtaining and retaining employment.

Google Faculty Research Award – Deadline: 9/30/19

  • The Faculty Research Awards Program, sometimes referred to as the Research Awards Program, supports academic research in computer science, engineering, and related fields. Through the program, we fund world-class research at top universities, facilitate interaction between Google and academia, and support projects whose output will be made openly available to the research community. Awards are structured as unrestricted gifts to universities and are designed to support roughly the cost of one graduate student for one year of work.

LG Chem Global Innovation Contest 2019 – Deadline: 9/30/19

  • The contest is open in 4 categories: Petrochemicals, Batteries, Advanced Materials, and Bio technologies.
  • Winners of this contest will be granted up to $150,000 per year for multi-year research activities and may also have the opportunity to collaborate with our R&D teams.
