Through the Aflac Charitable Fund, the company supports nonprofit organizations serving South Carolina communities.
Grant decisions are made by an Aflac grants committee composed of employee volunteers, while Central Carolina Community Foundation provides administrative support for the grant process.

- Support pediatric cancer patients or their families
- Provide educational or life-skills programs for school-aged children
- Have at least one part-time or full-time paid staff member
- Have an operating budget of at least $25,000
- Need between $1,000 and $10,000 for a defined program
