The Amazon Northwest Louisiana Community Fund provides flexible funding to help individuals and organizations start or expand community projects in Northwest Louisiana. Supported by Amazon, this fund reflects Amazon’s commitment to being a good neighbor by investing in innovative, inclusive programs that strengthen local communities where it operates.
Through the ChangeX platform, selected projects can access funding, step-by-step guidance, and hands-on support to turn proven ideas—or new community solutions—into action.

Funding Details
- Total Fund: US$250,000
- Grant Size: Up to US$10,000 per project
- Funding is released in phases, tied to project milestones and impact sharing
In addition to funding, participants receive:
- Expert guides and step-by-step plans
- Ongoing advice and support from the ChangeX team
Eligibility & Requirements
- Projects must take place in Greater Shreveport, Caddo Parish, or Bossier Parish
- Applicants must be 18 years or older (or have guardian permission)
- If applying for more than $5,000, the applicant must be a registered U.S. charity
- Projects must align with at least one eligible theme
How the Application Works
Option 1: Apply With a Proven Idea
- Select a proven idea from ChangeX
- Create a project page
- Complete a 30-Day Challenge to unlock funding
- Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who complete the challenge
- Share project impact to unlock final funding
Option 2: Apply With Your Own Project
- Application Deadline: March 20, 2026 (CST)
- Applications reviewed after the closing date
- Notification: By May 1, 2026 (CST)
- If approved, complete onboarding steps within 30 days
- Launch your project and share impact to receive full funding
