Contributions Program (Up to $5,000)
BankNewport offers quarterly contribution funding for nonprofit organizations requesting $5,000 or less. Contributions are typically intended to support:
- Annual fundraisers
- Community concerts and festivals
- Youth programming
- Local community events and activities
Contribution requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event or program, and only one contribution request per organization per year will be considered.

Eligibility & Restrictions
Eligible
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Rhode Island communities
BankNewport Does Not Typically Fund:
- General operating support (including salaries and stipends)
- National organizations (including state/local chapters)
- Scholarships or tuition assistance for individuals or families
- Memorial events
- Religious, fraternal, or political organizations
- Trips, tours, transportation, seminars, or conferences
- Pass-through fundraisers
- Annual fund drives or campaigns
- Playground projects
Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.

Applicants must complete the online application and upload required documents in a single session. In-progress applications cannot be saved.
