Small Grants Addressing Health Disparities with Immediate Community Impact

The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas offers Mini Grants to support organizations working to reduce health disparities across Arkansas. This quarterly grant program provides small, fast-turnaround funding for tangible equipment, supplies, and programs that improve health, safety, and access to care—especially for children, families, and underserved populations.

What This Program Supports

Mini Grant funds must be used for specific, clearly defined programs in one or more of the following categories:

🩺 Emergency Medical Equipment

  • AEDs
  • Stop the Bleed kits
  • Narcan

👶 Maternal & Child Health

  • Child passenger safety seats
  • Safe sleeping equipment
  • Blood pressure cuffs
  • Diapers and formula
  • Transportation support for access to care

🥗 Food Pantry Support

  • Healthy proteins
  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Dairy, whole grains, and healthy fats
  • Pantry equipment
  • Economic stability or health education classes

🏫 Health Initiatives at Schools, Colleges & Universities

  • Calming rooms
  • Food pantry support
  • Hygiene products
  • School supplies
  • Financial literacy
  • Preventative health programs

Funding Amounts & Grant Term

💰 Grant Range: $1,000 – $5,000
⚠️ Partial funding: Not awarded
⏱ Program Timeline: Projects must be implemented within 6 months of receiving funding

  • Religious or political activities
  • Athletic teams, pageants, or fraternal organizations
  • Capital campaigns, sponsorships, or fundraisers
  • Conferences
  • Tobacco-related projects
  • Indirect or general operating costs (e.g., salaries, rent, insurance, audits, fundraising, marketing)

Application Timeline (Next Deadline)

Mini Grant applications are accepted during the first two months of each quarter and reviewed in the final month.

📅 Notification of Award or Decline: By the end of June 2026
