Charitable Giving Supporting Cape Cod Communities

The Cape & Coast Bank Foundation provides grant support to nonprofit organizations addressing critical needs on Cape Cod. Funding is intended to strengthen the well-being of local residents, with 100% of grant dollars remaining in Barnstable County.

About the Funder

The Cape & Coast Bank Foundation is committed to investing in the long-term vitality of Cape Cod. Through its charitable giving program, the Foundation supports nonprofits that meet clearly defined community needs and align with the Foundation’s mission and areas of impact.


Areas of Impact

Grant requests must align with one of the Foundation’s five Areas of Impact as outlined in its giving guidelines. Applicants should clearly demonstrate how the proposed program, project, or campaign addresses a documented community need that is not otherwise adequately supported.


Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a minimum of three years of operating history
  • Be located on Cape Cod or directly benefit Cape Cod residents
  • Ensure 100% of funds remain in Barnstable County
  • Request a minimum of $2,500
  • Align with the Foundation’s mission, Areas of Impact, and Types of Giving
  • Address a clearly defined unmet or underfunded community need

Organizations may receive one grant per 12-month period.

  • IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter
  • List of Board of Directors and affiliations
  • Program/project/campaign budget (including funds raised to date)
  • List of other funders and funding amounts
  • Narrative/case for support, including community need, data points, and implementation plan
  • Any additional materials supporting the request

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

📅 Application Deadline: March 15
📅 Grant Award Notification: By June 1
