The True Inspiration Awards® program honors the legacy of Chick-fil-A® founder S. Truett Cathy by supporting nonprofit organizations creating meaningful local impact. In 2026, Chick-fil-A awarded $6 million in grants across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.

About the Program

Established in 2015, the True Inspiration Awards celebrate nonprofits that embody service, innovation, and community leadership. Grants range from $30,000 to $350,000, supporting organizations advancing youth development, hunger relief, housing stability, and environmental stewardship.

One organization each year is selected as the S. Truett Cathy Honoree, recognized for pioneering solutions that reflect the founder’s generous and innovative spirit.

Regional Winners

In addition to category awards:

  • Organizations must be nominated by a Chick-fil-A Operator
  • Chick-fil-A One® customers have the opportunity to vote on finalists

Eligibility

To apply, organizations must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States
    OR
  • Be a charitable organization in Canada, the United Kingdom, or Singapore that can provide legal confirmation of equivalent public charity status

Applicants must demonstrate strong community impact aligned with one or more of the award categories.
