Rolling Grants Supporting Safe, Vibrant, and Sustainable Communities

Enbridge Gas directs its charitable donations and sponsorships to communities within its service areas, with a focus on improving quality of life through safe communities, vibrant communities, and sustainable communities. Enbridge Gas supports environmental and sustainability projects that protect natural resources and green spaces, including education, stewardship, habitat remediation, and conservation.


Eligible Organizations & Examples

Qualified applicants may include:

  • Community-based emergency services and safety organizations
  • Youth education, mentorship, and workforce development programs
  • Social service organizations empowering individuals and families
  • Environmental organizations focused on education, conservation, and stewardship
  • Indigenous and Tribal communities and organizations honoring culture and heritage

Funding Amounts

  • Typical awards: $1,000–$10,000
  • Larger awards may be considered for national or multi-region organizations with impact across multiple service areas

Eligibility & Review Criteria

Funding decisions consider:

  • Community importance and number of people served
  • Budget impact and role of Enbridge Gas’ support
  • Other sponsors and partnerships
  • Potential for lasting, long-term community benefit
  • Opportunities for employee engagement or volunteerism

Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding, and criteria may vary by location.


Ineligible Requests

Enbridge Gas does not support:

  • Requests benefiting individuals
  • Religious or political organizations or special interest groups
  • Recreation or sports organizations and events
  • Advertising, ticket sales, memberships, or lotteries
  • Endowments, memorials, statues, or monuments
  • Travel-related costs
  • Crowd-sourced campaigns (e.g., GoFundMe)
  • Projects named for or recognizing an individual

Timeline & Review

📅 Application Window: January 1 – November 15, 2026 (rolling)
📅 Review Period: Approximately 8–10 weeks
📅 Notification: Within 60 days of submission
📅 Disbursement: Allow an additional 4–6 weeks after approval
