Applicants should note the following requirements:
Organizations must be established for at least one year before applying.
Requests must support hunger relief or food insecurity initiatives.
Organizations must submit requests at least four weeks before the requested donation date.
Food Lion Feeds can support the same organization once every six months.
Applicants must include a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax ID letter and W-9.
Applications must be submitted through the online request system.
Food Lion Feeds no longer considers proposals submitted by mail, fax, or email.
Ineligible Requests
Food Lion Feeds donation requests are not intended for monetary grant requests. Organizations seeking monetary support should apply separately through the Food Lion Charitable Foundation Grants application.
Requests submitted outside the online application system will not be considered.
Funding Amounts
Food Lion does not publish standard donation amounts. Support may be provided in the form of a Food Lion gift card or product donation, depending on the request and availability.
