About the Funder

Glidewell is a dental technology and services company committed to improving access to high-quality dental care. Through its corporate giving efforts, Glidewell supports dental professionals, nonprofit organizations, educational programs, and charitable care initiatives that advance oral health access and align with the company’s mission.

Glidewell’s giving is guided by compliance with the federal Sunshine Act and a commitment to supporting meaningful causes within its annual charitable donations budget.

What This Program Supports

Glidewell considers requests that align with its mission and fall within several priority categories:

Universities & Clinical Education Programs
Glidewell donates essential equipment to help educational programs operate effectively and empower the next generation of dental professionals.

Key Opinion Leaders & Dental Event Speakers
Glidewell considers requests from key opinion leaders regarding speaking engagement sponsorships and travel expenses related to industry events.

501(c)(3) Charities
Federally designated nonprofits are eligible for donations from Glidewell. The company prioritizes organizations whose core values and causes align with its mission.

Providers of Pro Bono Dental Work
Glidewell donates select restorative solutions and prostheses to individual clinicians and group clinics performing pro bono dental work for patients in need.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants may include:

Universities and clinical education programs
Dental schools and educational programs
Key opinion leaders and dental event speakers
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Individual clinicians providing pro bono dental care
Group clinics providing charitable dental services
U.S.-based requestors supporting international dental missions

Applicants who are not dental professionals, educators, healthcare providers, or community organizers may still apply if their cause aligns with Glidewell’s mission. However, Glidewell prioritizes requests from the categories listed above.

International Eligibility

International organizations may be eligible under certain conditions. The requestor must be based in the United States. For example, U.S.-based clinicians may request supplies to support international dental missions.

All donated supplies must be shipped to a U.S. address. The requesting clinician or organization is responsible for transporting the supplies to the international destination.

Ineligible Requests

Glidewell generally does not donate to:

Political organizations
Religious organizations, unless the program is non-denominational and community-based
For-profit entities
Social clubs

Funding Amounts

Glidewell does not publish standard donation amounts. The company allocates a fixed annual budget for charitable donations, and all requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
