Corporate Funding: Due June 2019

The following corporate funding opportunities have deadlines in June 2019.

Danone Institute North America One Planet One Health Initiative – Deadline: 6/1/19

  • The One Planet. One Health Initiative is a new competitive program that will select and fund up to four transdisciplinary teams in 2019 to design, implement and evaluate actionable community-based projects on sustainable food systems.
  • This initiative will provide seed funding for projects such as pilot studies, feasibility testing, needs assessments and planning grants. In addition, teams may use this grant mechanism to supplement current funding from other sources, but new project aims must be developed for the One Planet. One Health Initiative funding. Each selected team will receive a $20,000 One Planet. One Health Initiative Innovation Award to implement its project and amplify its message to a broader audience.

Gilead Sciences: HIV/HCV NoCo (NoCo-Infection)– Deadline: 6/14/19

  • In the third installment of NoCo, this program will fund approximately six to eight projects with a total commitment of US $3M focused on investigating strategies to link patients living with HCV and HIV co-infection to HCV treatment. Applications will be accepted from May 1 to June 14, 2019.

Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology – Deadline: 6/15/19

  • The international Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology is awarded annually to one young scientist for the most outstanding neurobiological research based on methods of molecular and cell biology conducted by him/her during the past three years. Prize money: US$ 25,000

Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation – Deadline: 6/15/19

  • Supports innovative projects that help youth with disabilities develop the leadership and employment skills they need to succeed, particularly for careers in science, technology, engineering, arts & design, and mathematics (STEAM). MEAF will also consider projects to create tools that help break down barriers to employment and increase job opportunities for young people with disabilities entering the workforce, including returning veterans with disabilities.
  • Grants range from $10K to $75K/year, for one to three years

ON Semicoductor Grants – Deadline: 6/28/19

  • Our Giving Priorities: Environment; Disaster relief; Health; Human services; Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education

The Mosaic Company Foundation Grants – Deadline: 6/28/19

  • Focus our investments in three core areas: Food, Water and Local Community Investments. Applicants must be located in geographic areas surrounding Mosaic locations and offices, unless seeking a global or national partnership.

Amgen Competitive Grant Program in Bone Research – Deadline: 6/28/19

  • Opportunity for investigators from around the world to compete for individual Amgen-funded research grants of up to 150,000 USD for novel research proposals that seek to improve quality of osteoporosis care and patient outcomes.

Biogen Medical Education Grants – Deadline: 6/30/19

  • Addressing critical issues to ensure communities are resilient and poised for growth. This includes support for affordable housing, sustainable development, strong business corridors, the arts and environmental investments.
  • Biogen considers requests across a variety of disease areas, including: Alzheimer’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Stroke, and Trigeminal Neuralgia.
  • Funding to an eligible institution or organization to support independent medical educational activities for HCPs and researchers.

Blue Diamond Community Giving Program – Deadline: 6/30/19

  • Provides funding for small grant requests, typically between $500 – $15,000, for nonprofit organizations that meet the three pillars of our Community Giving Program: Agricultural Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Development.

Target Youth Soccer Grants (Target Corporate Profile) – Deadline: 6/30/19

Nokia Open Innovation Challenge 2019 – Deadline: 6/30/19

  • Offers the opportunity for the bright minded companies to propose the best-in-class products and solutions within the Industrial Automation domain to an international jury. (up to $100K)

Gilead Sciences: HCV STAT Program: Simplification and Test and Treat Strategies Towards Hepatitis C Elimination – Deadline: 6/30/19

  • This program will fund approximately fifteen projects with a total commitment of US $10M focused on simplifying HCV care delivery and implementing test and treat strategies to overcome barriers to patient care. Applications will be accepted from April 11 to June 30, 2019.
