About the Program
Established in 1986, the Green Bay Packers Foundation is part of the Packers Give Back initiative and supports charities that strengthen families, promote the positive value of athletics, ensure the safety and education of children, support player and fan welfare, and prevent cruelty to animals. The Foundation is an independent entity that invests in programs responding to demonstrated community needs throughout Wisconsin.
2026 Funding Priorities
For the 2026 grant cycle, the Foundation will fund projects and programs addressing:
- Animal welfare
- Homelessness
- Human services
Eligible organizations may submit one application per four-year grant cycle and are encouraged to apply in the year that aligns with their most urgent funding need.
Four-Year Grant Cycle Focus Areas
- 2026: Animal welfare, homelessness, human services
- 2027: Arts & culture, environmental, hunger
- 2028: Athletics, education
- 2029: Elderly, health & wellness (including drug/alcohol and domestic violence)
Eligible Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be physically located in Wisconsin
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for at least two years
- Request funding for a project/program aligned with the current year’s focus areas
- Not have applied for another grant within the current four-year cycle
