Holzer’s charitable giving program is designed to ensure sponsorship funds are invested in initiatives that strengthen communities, promote health and education, and build sustainable partnerships.

Holzer operates on a July–June fiscal year.

What Holzer Will Consider

Holzer will review funding and sponsorship requests when the organization or effort:

• Aligns with Holzer’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan
• Supports communities served by Holzer
• Supports community boards where Holzer leadership or providers are active participants
• Benefits not-for-profit charitable organizations
• Promotes economic growth in service communities
• Educates key audiences
• Builds sustainable partnerships with shared values
• Provides visibility for Holzer as a community leader
• Offers media coverage and sponsor recognition opportunities
• Provides sponsorship exclusivity

Priority may be given to organizations that:

• Have been previously funded
• Highlight Holzer leadership, providers, services, or programs
• Promote philanthropic relationship-building

What Holzer Cannot Support

Holzer does not fund:

• Organizations that conflict with Holzer’s mission, vision, or values
• Yearbook advertising
• Levy campaigns
• Requests benefiting an individual person or family
• Political candidates or organizations
• Third-party advertising or third-party fundraising efforts

Application Process

All charitable sponsorship requests must be submitted through Holzer’s online sponsorship request form.

The application requires:

• Date of event
• Event description
• Sponsorship levels available
• Explanation of alignment with Holzer’s mission and strategy
• Additional required organizational details

Incomplete applications may be delayed or rejected. The form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Timeline & Planning

📅 Minimum Lead Time: At least 3 months prior to the sponsored event
📅 Recommended Submission Deadline: By January each year to align with strategic planning and budgeting
📅 Fiscal Year: July–June

Requests submitted outside recommended timeframes will be reviewed at Holzer’s discretion. Funding outside of standard deadlines is evaluated by the Holzer Sponsorship Committee.
