  • Organizations may receive funding for up to three years total, after which a one-year hiatus is required before reapplying
  • The Foundation does not fund new programs

What Is Not Funded

The Foundation does not fund:

  • Individuals or private foundations
  • Staff salaries and benefits
  • Event sponsorships, advertisements, or tables
  • Annual giving or capital campaigns
  • Religious organizations
  • Government institutions
  • Public, private, or charter schools
  • Political or advocacy groups
  • Facility rental
  • Programs outside the eligible Southern California counties
  • Organizations outside the United States
