About the Funder
Lantheus is a healthcare company focused on radiopharmaceutical innovation and diagnostic imaging. Through its grants and charitable partnerships programs, Lantheus supports medical, educational, philanthropic, and research initiatives that align with its mission and areas of scientific focus.
Lantheus awards all grants and contributions at its sole discretion. Requests must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and funding may not be tied in any way to prescribing, purchasing, recommending, or formulary decisions involving any drug or product.
What This Program Supports
Lantheus provides several types of funding support, including:
Charitable Contributions
Lantheus considers charitable contribution requests from a broad range of charitable organizations. Charitable contributions are permitted only when the recipient is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Requests must be connected to a general fundraising effort by the charitable organization rather than a request directed only to Lantheus. The request must come directly from the organization itself and not from an individual physician, pharmacist, or healthcare professional who is not an employee of the charity.
Independent Medical Education
Lantheus supports independent, science-based education for healthcare professionals. Eligible activities may include accredited medical education, scientific meetings, and peer-reviewed publications.
Medical education activities must use the appropriate application process, even if the applicant organization has 501(c)(3) status. Activities involving medical education should not be submitted as charitable contribution requests.
Research Grants and Investigator-Sponsored Trials
Lantheus provides grants to support research proposals involving marketed Lantheus products. These may include clinical, pre-clinical, retrospective, or health economic and outcomes research studies that explore novel applications or evidence-based clinical practice.
Eligibility
For charitable contribution requests, applicants must be federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Pending 501(c)(3) status does not qualify.
Lantheus does not make grants to individuals. Funding is available only to eligible organizations as described for each program type.
Eligible charitable contribution applicants should be prepared to provide:
Organization’s annual budget
Federal Tax ID number
IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter
Statement of charitable mission
Valid email address for communications
Description of the organization and mission
Description of the fundraising activity, if applicable
Important Restrictions
Lantheus will not consider charitable contribution requests that are tied in any way to past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing, or recommending of any drug.
Requests may be rejected if there is evidence suggesting that the contribution is connected to prescribing, purchasing, recommending, or formulary decisions. Rejected requests for this reason may not be resubmitted.
Applicants should not discuss applications with Lantheus sales or marketing personnel. Inappropriate involvement with sales or marketing representatives may result in rejection of the application.
Lantheus does not accept mailed grant requests. Only online applications will be considered.
Funding Amounts
Lantheus does not publish standard award amounts for charitable contributions or grants. Funding decisions are made at the company’s sole discretion and may vary by request type, program alignment, eligibility, and available resources.
