Community investments are guided by the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and focus on building long-term capacity, strengthening collaborations, and addressing health disparities.
2026 Grant Funding Windows
Mayo Clinic offers one grant opportunity for each Community Health Needs Assessment priority area:
🧠 Mental Health
Application Period: January 1 – January 31, 2026
🏥 Access to Care
Application Period: April 1 – April 30, 2026
🥗 Access to Nutritious Foods
Application Period: July 1 – July 31, 2026
The current open opportunity is Access to Care, with applications due by April 30, 2026.
Applicants must submit during the specific window for the funding area they are pursuing.
Eligible Organizations
Organizations must:
- Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Serve communities in Northeast Florida, specifically:
- Baker County
- Clay County
- Duval County
- Nassau County
- St. Johns County
- Request funding no more than once per calendar year
Mayo Clinic primarily supports organizations within the city and county where its Florida campus operates and the broader Northeast Florida region.

All requests are evaluated for alignment with one or more health priorities:

Event Sponsorships
Event sponsorships are reviewed monthly and must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event using the designated event sponsorship form.
Event sponsorship requests should not be included within grant applications.
Application Process
Grant applications must be submitted through the GrantsConnect portal during the appropriate funding window.
