- Request funding that does not exceed 20% of the organization’s operating budget
This policy applies to both requests above $5,000 and those $5,000 or less.
Ineligible Requests
The Mayo Clinic Community Contributions Program does not support:
- Conferences
- Disease-specific initiatives
- Events such as bike rides, golf outings, walks, runs, or post-prom events

📅 3rd Quarter Deadline: May 31
📩 Decision Notification: By August 30
Other quarterly cycles:
- November 30 (Decision by February 28)
- February 28 (Decision by May 31)

Funding Requests of $5,000 or Less
- Reviewed twice monthly
- Typically notified within four weeks (delays possible due to volume)
Event Sponsorships
- Must be submitted at least 12 weeks prior to the event
- Use the designated event sponsorship form
- Do not include sponsorship requests within grant applications

- Grant requests of $5,000 or less
