Support for Local Community Events and Charitable Organizations

MBT Bank supports community events and nonprofit organizations that help local communities grow and thrive. Through its Donation & Sponsorship Program, MBT Bank provides support for charitable activities and events in the towns and regions where it operates.

Due to the high volume of requests received, all organizations seeking support must complete MBT Bank’s online Donation & Sponsorship Application and submit requests with adequate advance notice.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Serve a community with an MBT Bank branch location or surrounding area
  • Complete the online Donation & Sponsorship Application
  • Submit the request at least three weeks before the event date or when funds are needed

Ineligible Requests

MBT Bank generally does not fund:

  • Individuals raising funds for personal activities (excluding benefits)
  • Political organizations or candidates for public office
  • Requests that are sensitive, controversial, harmful, or pose a conflict of interest
  • Organizations that discriminate based on protected characteristics
  • Events or activities that have already occurred
  • Organizations located outside the United States
