What This Program Supports
Each year, MIBOR’s Community Impact Council awards grants to local projects that advance:

- Placemaking and quality-of-place initiatives
- Affordable housing
- Tourism development
- Regional collaboration
- Economic vitality and inclusive growth
Projects should contribute to building and maintaining inclusive, vibrant communities and support a skilled regional workforce.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold current tax-exempt nonprofit status or be a government entity
- Serve communities within MIBOR’s service area
- Provide services inclusively and without discrimination
- Demonstrate measurable impact with clear tracking and reporting methods
- Align with MIBOR’s mission and vision for economic and community development
