What This Program Supports

Each year, MIBOR’s Community Impact Council awards grants to local projects that advance:

  • Workforce development
  • Placemaking and quality-of-place initiatives
  • Affordable housing
  • Tourism development
  • Regional collaboration
  • Economic vitality and inclusive growth

Projects should contribute to building and maintaining inclusive, vibrant communities and support a skilled regional workforce.


Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold current tax-exempt nonprofit status or be a government entity
  • Serve communities within MIBOR’s service area
  • Provide services inclusively and without discrimination
  • Demonstrate measurable impact with clear tracking and reporting methods
  • Align with MIBOR’s mission and vision for economic and community development
