The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF), the philanthropic arm of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations delivering impactful youth and family programs across Central Florida.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt status
  • Demonstrate at least one full year of program services and outcomes
  • Serve youth or families with children in Central Florida
  • Operate in one or more eligible counties (see above)
  • Demonstrate a strong financial position, including a financial audit
  • Provide strong, measurable program outcomes
  • Focus on one of OMYF’s four funding pillars

Ineligible Requests

OMYF does not fund:

  • Capital campaigns, endowments, or reserve funds
  • Public schools
  • Government agencies
  • First-year programs
  • Non-programmatic requests
  • Programs that specifically teach theology

2026–27 Summer Grant Cycle Timeline

Funding Period: July 2026 – June 2027

📅 April 8, 2026 – Summer In-Person Grant Workshop
📅 April 9, 2026 – Virtual Grant Workshop (Microsoft Teams)
📅 April 10, 2026 – LOI Opens (ALL applicants must submit)
📅 April 29, 2026 – LOI Closes
📅 May 20, 2026 – Application Closes
📅 August 2026 – Award Notifications
📅 February 28, 2027 – Grant Ceremony

Important:
All organizations (new and returning) must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) before being invited to complete a full application.
No LOIs or applications will be accepted after the stated deadlines — no exceptions.

  1. Log into the OMYF Grant Portal and establish your organization profile
  2. Submit the required Letter of Intent (LOI)
  3. If invited, complete the full application
