Grants Supporting Women & Girls Across Indiana

The Fever Fund, an initiative of the Pacers Foundation, invests in programs that empower women and girls to rise on the court, in the classroom, and in their communities. The Fund supports Indiana-based nonprofits helping women and girls build confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of safety and belonging.

About the Fever Fund

The Fever Fund champions initiatives that help women and girls thrive. Grounded in the belief that confident girls become strong women—and strong women build stronger communities—the Fund prioritizes programs that create meaningful, measurable impact throughout Indiana.

Beginning January 2026, the Indiana Fever license plate program will further support the Fever Fund, with proceeds helping fuel programs for women and girls statewide.


What This Program Supports

Eligible programs must align with one or more of the Fever Fund’s focus areas:

  • Leadership and career readiness
  • Confidence through sports and wellness
  • Safety and belonging

The Fund gives preference to organizations demonstrating strong collaboration with nonprofits, government agencies, and community stakeholders.

Organizations may be eligible if they:

  • Are Indiana-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits
  • Primarily serve women and girls
  • Align with the Fever Fund’s stated focus areas
  • Demonstrate measurable impact and community collaboration

Ineligible Requests

The Fever Fund does not provide support for:

  • General operating expenses or administrative support
  • Capital campaigns, endowments, or annual giving campaigns
  • Infrastructure improvements
  • Event sponsorships or advertising
  • Equipment donations

Application Process

The Fever Fund uses a two-step process:

Step 1: Submit an Interest Form

Quarterly deadlines:

  • Quarter 1 – September 15
  • Quarter 2 – December 15
  • Quarter 3 – March 17
  • Quarter 4 – June 16

Interest Forms are reviewed after each deadline. Submission does not guarantee funding. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Selected organizations may be invited to proceed to the next step of the application process.
