About the Funder

Eligibility & Preferences
Preference is given to:
- Organizations with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
Additional eligible applicants include:
- Local governmental authorities (excluding federal, state, or county-level entities)
Other eligibility notes:
- Projects must be located in western North Dakota
- Requests benefiting an individual personally are not eligible
- Religious organizations may apply for community medical or housing projects, but not for religious purposes
Ineligible Requests
The program does not fund:
- Requests for personal benefit
- Religious projects intended for religious purposes
- Federal, state, or county government entities
