Items such as gift baskets, often used for raffles or fundraising giveaways.
Eligibility & Key Guidelines
- Requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance
- Applicants must serve communities within Savers Bank’s geographic service area
- All organizations must adhere to Savers Bank’s non-discrimination policy
- Due to high demand, not all eligible requests can be funded, and approved amounts may differ from the amount requested
Requests Typically Not Supported
Savers Bank generally does not fund:
- For-profit organizations
- Individuals or individual scholarships/travel support
- Political organizations or candidates
- Organizations outside the Bank’s service area
- Requests for past operating deficits or undefined operating support
Required Documentation
Applicants should be prepared to submit:
- Completed and signed W-9 or 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter
- Supplemental materials (e.g., request letter, flyer, brochure, mission statement, sponsorship levels)
