Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (proof of status required)
- Operate within communities served by Skowhegan Savings Bank
- Submit only one application per calendar year
Ineligible Requests
As a general rule, the Foundation does not fund:
- Individuals or programs benefiting specific individuals (except approved scholarships)
- Religious organizations
- Labor organizations
- Political candidates or campaigns
- Endowment funds
- For-profit businesses or organizations
Application Timeline
The Workforce Development Fund has quarterly deadlines:

Applications for the May 30 deadline must be submitted by that date.
