The SpartanNash Foundation is the philanthropic arm of SpartanNash, a food solutions company serving military commissaries, retail stores, and communities across the United States. Since 2015, the Foundation has granted more than $17 million to nonprofit partners, supporting food access, disaster response, military families, and workforce development.

Eligibility & Requirements
To be eligible, organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Be located within a 30-mile radius of a SpartanNash facility
- Align clearly with one or more of the Foundation’s giving pillars
Organizations may submit one application per year.

- Bluefield, VA
- Columbus, GA
- Fargo, ND
- Grand Rapids, MI
- Indianapolis, IN
- Lima, OH
- Lumberton, NC
- Menominee, MI
- Norfolk, VA
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Omaha, NE
- Pensacola, FL
- San Antonio, TX
- Severn, MD
- Sioux Falls, SD
- St. Cloud, MN
💡 Note: Eligibility may also extend to areas near SpartanNash retail stores and corporate offices.
Ineligible Requests
While SpartanNash does not publish a full exclusion list, funding is generally limited to organizations and programs that align directly with its stated priorities and geographic requirements.

SpartanNash Foundation does not publish standard grant amounts. Funding varies based on project scope, alignment, and available resources.
