Target’s Community Engagement Funds (CEF) program empowers local store and distribution center leaders to invest directly in their communities. Eligibility & Preferences
Eligible applicants include:
- 501(c)(3) public charities
- K–12 public or nonprofit private schools, charter schools
- Community/junior colleges, colleges, and universities (must have an NCES number)
Additional guidelines:
- Organizations may not apply for the same program in both grant cycles
- A maximum of 10 active applications per organization at any time
- Applicants should apply during the cycle that best aligns with program timing

- Grant Range: $1,000 – $15,000
