Charitable Grants Supporting Financial Wellness, Social Mobility, and Workforce Education
The Truliant Foundation Community Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations that are strengthening and improving local communities served by Truliant branches. Through quarterly grant cycles, the Foundation invests in small, community-based nonprofits advancing financial inclusion, economic stability, and workforce development.
For organizations seeking funding in early 2026, Interest Forms for the Q2 cycle are due by March 15, 2026.

About the Funder
The Truliant Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Truliant Federal Credit Union. The Foundation focuses on strengthening nonprofit organizations that deliver direct, measurable benefits to individuals and families in Truliant-served communities. Priority is placed on smaller nonprofits with strong governance and local impact.
What This Program Supports
The Truliant Foundation funds nonprofit programs aligned with one or more of the following focus areas:
Financial Wellness
Programs that promote financial inclusion and financial literacy for adults, including:
- First-time homebuyer education
- Financial counseling and budgeting programs
- Credit-building and asset-building initiatives
Social Mobility
Programs that build stability and long-term prosperity for individuals and families, including:
- Food insecurity solutions
- Affordable housing support
- Clothing access and transportation assistance
Workforce Education
Programs that support adult learners through education and workforce development, including:
- Mentoring and leadership development
- Soft skills and job readiness training
- Teacher and workforce support initiatives
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Have been operating for at least three years
- Serve individuals living in a community with a Truliant branch
- Have a volunteer board overseeing operations
- Align with one or more Truliant Foundation focus areas
- Have an annual operating budget under $1 million
Note: The Foundation can only fund organizations located in Truliant-served communities.
Ineligible Requests
The Truliant Foundation does not support:
- Capital campaigns, general operating support, or salaries
- Individuals or families
- Faith-based or religious organizations or programs
- For-profit organizations
- Political candidates, parties, or causes
- School-based clubs, booster groups, PTO/PTA organizations
- Youth sports teams or leagues
- Organizations operating outside Truliant communities
- Organizations that discriminate based on legally protected status
Application Process & March Deadline
The Community Grants Program uses a two-step application process:
Step 1: Interest Form
Organizations must submit a Community Grants Interest Form for initial consideration.
Q2 2026 Deadline:
📅 Interest Form due by March 15, 2026
Step 2: Full Application (Invitation Only)
Selected organizations will be invited to submit a full application between April 1–April 30, 2026.
📅 Awards Announced: By June 30, 2026
📅 Review Cycle: Quarterly
