Eligibility & Preferences

Applicants must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  • Have been in operation for at least three years
  • Operate in a community with a Truliant branch
  • Maintain a volunteer board of directors
  • Have an annual operating budget under $1 million
  • Align with one of the Foundation’s funding priorities

Ineligible Requests

The Foundation will not fund:

  • Capital campaigns, general operating expenses, or salaries
  • Individuals or family fundraising efforts
  • Faith-based or religious programs
  • For-profit organizations
  • Political organizations or campaigns
  • School-affiliated groups (e.g., PTOs, booster clubs)
  • Youth sports teams
  • Organizations outside Truliant service areas
  • Discriminatory organizations

Timeline & Review

📅 Interest Form Deadline (Q4 Cycle): September 15, 2026
📅 Invitation to Apply: October 1 – October 31, 2026
📅 Award Notification: By December 31, 2026
