Eligibility Criteria

To qualify:

  • Must operate in geographic areas where U.S. Venture facilities or team members are located

Typically Outside Funding Scope

The Foundation generally does not fund:

  • Grants to individuals or families
  • Conference expenses, medical procedures, or research
  • Events already completed or expenses incurred prior to approval
  • Political organizations or causes
  • Schools or government agencies
  • Annual meetings or recurring operational-only expenses
  • Religious organizations requiring religious affiliation for service delivery
  • Capital campaigns for schools, religious institutions, sports facilities, or endowments
  • Organizations outside U.S. Venture’s geographic footprint

Application Process

Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s Temelio grant platform.

Important notes:

  • For this grant cycle, only nonprofits that have been historically funded may apply.
  • Application questions can be downloaded for offline review, but submissions must be completed within Temelio.

Decision Timeline

  • Please allow 8–10 weeks after the application deadline for a decision.
  • A 12-month final grant report is required before submitting future funding requests.
  • Any significant change in funding use requires prior written approval.
