Requests related to unusual or emergency circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Eligible Organizations
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Be based in or directly benefit Webster Five’s delineated community
- Request funding between $1,000 and $15,000
- Demonstrate clear local impact
Repeat requests for the same program are discouraged, but may be considered if well documented.
Ineligible Requests
The Webster Five Foundation does not support:
- Individuals
- Political organizations or candidates
- Churches, synagogues, or mosques
- Fraternal organizations
- Employment unions
- Tax-supported entities
Exception: Library capital campaigns may be considered if supported by a private funding program.
Timeline & Review
📅 Application Deadlines:
- March 15
- June 15
- September 15
- December 15
📅 Review Process:
The Foundation’s Board of Directors meets quarterly.
📅 Notification:
All applicants receive a written response by the end of the month following the deadline.
