Local Grants Supporting Financial Literacy, Education, and Community Well-Being
The 3Rivers Credit Union Foundation provides community grant funding to nonprofit organizations working to improve financial stability, education outcomes, and health and wellness in communities served by 3Rivers Federal Credit Union. Grants are awarded quarterly, with a focus on locally based programs that demonstrate clear goals and measurable impact.
At least 80% of requested funds must remain local within eligible counties, and all funded programs must align with the Foundation’s mission and priority focus areas.

Community-based programs that promote physical, mental, or overall well-being.
All proposals must demonstrate specific goals and include measurable qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
Funding Amounts
- Maximum request: $7,500
- Final award amounts are determined at the discretion of 3Rivers Federal Credit Union executive management.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
- Serve communities located within eligible 3Rivers counties
- Ensure at least 80% of requested funds remain local
- Submit proposals aligned with the Foundation’s mission and focus areas
Ineligible Requests
The Foundation does not fund:
- Capital or endowment campaigns
- General operating expenses
- Individuals or individual projects
- Political causes or candidates
- Debt reduction or liquidation
- Religious organizations whose programs require religious participation
Capital requests may be considered; however, applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Foundation prior to applying.
