3️⃣ Waterfront & Marine Environment

Organizations working to preserve and revitalize the waterfront and marine environment of the Greater Seattle area.


Eligible Support Types

  • In-kind donations in the form of cruise tickets
  • Donations intended for fundraising events (e.g., auctions, raffles, benefit events)

⚠️ Tickets:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Will not be reissued if lost or stolen
  • Limited to one donation per organization per year

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, organizations must:

  • Qualify for nonprofit status under the Internal Revenue Code (e.g., 501(c)(3))
  • Benefit the local Seattle/Puget Sound community
  • Submit a request in writing on official letterhead or through the online form
  • Submit requests at least 90 days prior to the event

Ineligible Requests

Argosy Cruises does not support:

  • Organizations operating counter to Argosy’s values
  • Social, labor union, alumni, trade, fraternal, or political organizations
  • Educational institutions without 501(c)(3) status
  • Private foundations (including corporate private foundations)
  • Faith-based organizations whose primary purpose is promoting a specific religion

Timeline & Review

📅 Application Timeline: Rolling
📅 Lead Time Required: Minimum 90 days before event
📅 Review Process: Community Giving Committee reviews submissions monthly
📅 Award Limit: One donation per organization per calendar year

Due to the high volume of requests received annually, not all applications can be fulfilled. Applicants will be notified whether or not their request is approved.

All requests must be submitted using Argosy Cruises’ official online form or on organization letterhead.

Applicants should ensure:

  • All required fields are completed
  • Event details are clearly described
  • Alignment with Argosy’s focus areas is demonstrated
