The Auto Club Group Foundation provides year-round grant support to organizations delivering services within its 14-state service footprint. - Note: The Foundation does not fund active speed enforcement equipment (e.g., radar guns, license plate readers, traffic cameras). Requests for passive speed enforcement (e.g., speed display signs) may be considered.
Financial Literacy (K–12)
- Financial education programming for students in grades K–12
- Tools and curricula that help students make sound financial decisions
Driver Education
- Scholarships and program support to expand access to quality driver education
- Priority for underserved communities
Eligibility
The Foundation awards grants to:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Nonprofits operating under a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
- Municipal governments (cities, townships, villages)
- Law enforcement agencies
- Fire departments and other first-responding agencies
- K–12 school districts
- Colleges and universities
Ineligible Requests
Grant funding does not support:
- Active speed enforcement equipment
- Mock vehicle crash events
- General operating expenses
- Event sponsorships
Application Process
Applications are accepted year-round and evaluated on a rolling basis. Applicants should clearly describe project goals, outcomes, alignment with Foundation priorities, and service delivery within the eligible footprint.
