Cedar Point Federal Credit Union® supports community service and charitable organizations that make a positive impact in the neighborhoods it serves. Contributions and sponsorships are made on a highly selective, case-by-case basis, with a focus on avoiding duplication of support through other member participation.

All charitable giving and corporate sponsorship requests must fall within one or more of the following categories:

  • Agriculture & Waterways
  • Civic Organizations
  • Community Improvement
  • Culture
  • Education
  • Family Arts & Entertainment
  • First Responders
  • Health

Eligibility & Geographic Preferences

To be considered:

  • Activities, groups, or events must take place within a Cedar Point branch community
  • Requests are evaluated case by case
  • National organizations with local chapters may be considered by exception

Cedar Point reserves the right to determine eligibility and funding availability for each request.

Cedar Point Federal Credit Union® does not provide donations or sponsorships for:

  • Activities, groups, or events outside Cedar Point branch communities
  • Administrative expenses, conference fees, or travel expenses
  • Religious groups
  • Political parties, candidates, or causes
  • Requests benefiting or funding a single individual’s participation in an event or activity

Timeline & Review

📅 Submission Deadline: Requests must be received at least 30 days prior to the event
📅 Review Type: Rolling, highly selective
📅 Funding Availability: Limited

A denial does not imply that an organization or program is unworthy—only that it does not align with current priorities or that funds are unavailable. Organizations may reapply in the next calendar year if denied.

Organizations that meet the criteria must apply through Cedar Point’s online portal, which allows requests to be tracked and reviewed efficiently:
