Chemours is a global chemistry company with operations, offices, research centers, and production sites across the United States and internationally. Through its Vibrant Communities program, Chemours invests in the people, places, and partnerships that surround its sites and shape the future of its communities.

As part of its Corporate Responsibility Commitment goals, Chemours aims to invest $50 million in communities by 2030 through employee volunteerism and philanthropic giving.

STEM Education

Community Safety
Initiatives that support safer, stronger, and more resilient communities, including efforts connected to preparedness, local safety needs, or community wellbeing.

Environmental Sustainability
Programs that advance environmental education, sustainability, stewardship, or community-based environmental impact.

Eligibility & Preferences

Chemours seeks proposals from nonprofits and other organizations working in communities where the company operates.

Strong applications should demonstrate:

A clear connection to a Chemours site community
Alignment with STEM education, community safety, or environmental sustainability
Local community input or partnership
Measurable outcomes
Long-term or sustainable community benefit
A clear explanation of how the project responds to local needs

Geographic Focus

Chemours maintains significant offices, research centers, and production facilities in multiple U.S. communities. Priority is likely strongest for organizations serving communities near Chemours operations, including:

Delaware
Global Headquarters and Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark

Georgia
Mining facilities and operations in Patterson and Wayne County

Texas
Production facilities in Ingleside and La Porte

West Virginia
Production plants in Belle and Washington

New Jersey
Production sites in Deepwater / Chambers Works and Parlin

North Carolina
Fayetteville Works
