Detroit Pistons – Donation Request Program (2026)
In-Kind Donations for Michigan Nonprofit Fundraisers & Civic Events
The Detroit Pistons proudly support charitable organizations across Michigan through in-kind donations for fundraising and community events. Due to high request volume, organizations must carefully follow the official Donation Request Policy.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, organizations must:
- Be a nonprofit with a valid 501(c)(3) or tax ID number (required at time of request)
- Host an event within the State of Michigan
- Submit the request at least 45 days prior to the event date
- Submit the request online only (no phone, email, or mailed requests accepted)
- Receive no more than one donation per 12-month period (tracked by organization)
Donation Guidelines
Donations are provided for:
- Fundraising events
- Charitable initiatives
- Civic events
The following are not eligible:
- Sales incentives
- Corporate gifts
- Donations to for-profit entities
- Personal items sent in for player or Legend autographs (items will not be returned)
Due to inventory limitations, donations are typically fulfilled one month prior to the event date (e.g., November events fulfilled in October).
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Follow-up communication is handled exclusively within the online donation platform.
