The Safe Community First Responder Program is Enbridge’s long-standing grant initiative dedicated to strengthening emergency response capacity in communities near the company’s operations. Launched in 2002, the program supports fire departments, EMS, law enforcement, and other emergency response organizations—particularly in rural and small communities where funding for critical equipment and training is often limited.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from January 1 through November 15, 2026, or until annual funding is fully allocated.
