Through this program, Entergy supports nonprofit organizations and public entities working in arts and culture, education and workforce development, poverty solutions and social services, healthy families, and community improvement. Open Grant applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and prioritized within Entergy’s service territory.

Eligibility & Preferences
Grants may be awarded only to the following types of organizations:
- 501(c)(3) public charities or private foundations
- Schools, hospitals, governmental units, or religious institutions with nonprofit status similar to a 501(c)(3)
- State or local governments, provided funds are used exclusively for public purposes
- War-veterans organizations with 501(c)(19) tax-exempt status
- Volunteer fire departments with 501(c)(4) tax-exempt status
Priority is placed on programs serving specific counties or parishes within Entergy’s service area. Applicants are encouraged to contact their local Entergy contributions coordinator with questions about geographic eligibility.
Ineligible Requests
Entergy will not fund:
- Organizations without 501(c)(3) or similar nonprofit status
- Payment of utility bills
- Political candidates or political groups
- Purchase of uniforms, equipment, or trips for school-related organizations or amateur sports teams
- Activities whose sole purpose is promotion or support of a specific religion, denomination, or religious institution
- Grants to individuals or loans of any type
- Organizations owned or operated by an Entergy employee

Entergy does not publish standard award amounts. Grant sizes vary based on alignment with priorities, geographic focus, and available funding.

📅 Review Period: Allow 8–12 weeks for review and notification
Applicants who have not been contacted after the review period may follow up with the appropriate Entergy contributions coordinator for their geographic area.
