Local Donations, Sponsorships, In-Kind Support, and Volunteer Support for Youth, Education, and Community Well-Being
Fibre Federal Credit Union and TLC support local organizations and events that strengthen the communities they serve. Through their Donations and Sponsorships Program, eligible organizations may request support for initiatives aligned with youth development, education, and health and well-being across select counties in Washington and Oregon.

About the Funder
Fibre Federal Credit Union and TLC are committed to strengthening communities across their membership areas. Their community commitment work includes donations, sponsorships, scholarships, volunteerism, financial education, and partnerships with local organizations. In 2025, Fibre and TLC supported 172 organizations through donations and sponsorships and contributed thousands of volunteer hours to community organizations and events.

Fibre and TLC support local organizations and events that align with one or more of their giving pillars:
Youth
Programs and organizations that provide educational enrichment and individual development opportunities for youth in the communities Fibre and TLC serve.
Education
Programs and organizations that connect individuals of all ages to educational courses, materials, and experiences that help them achieve their full potential.
Health & Well-Being
Programs and organizations that provide essential community resources, including food, shelter, healthcare, and other supports for individuals and families.
Eligible Support Types
Organizations may request several types of support:
Sponsorships
Event or program support, often including advertising, tickets, or other sponsorship-related benefits.
Donations
Items or support needed for raffles, giveaways, or community events.
In-Kind Support
Non-cash goods or services.
Volunteer Support
Requests for Fibre/TLC staff volunteers to support an event or program.
Eligibility & Preferences
To be considered, the organization, project, or event must provide a significant benefit to Fibre and TLC’s membership and/or the communities they serve.
Eligible service areas include:
Washington:
Cowlitz County
Wahkiakum County
Clark County
Skamania County
Lewis County
Pacific County
Grays Harbor County
Oregon:
Columbia County
Clatsop County
Tillamook County
Lincoln County
Priority is given to:
Registered nonprofits with tax-exempt status
Government entities, such as schools or cities
Organizations aligned with youth, education, or health and well-being
Projects or events that provide clear community benefit within Fibre and TLC’s service area
Membership with Fibre or TLC is not required for consideration, although applicants must disclose any existing banking relationship with Fibre or TLC as part of the application.
Ineligible Requests
Fibre and TLC will not consider requests from or for:
Organizations that are political or religious by primary nature
Donations for individuals or small groups of individuals, including individual youth sports teams, except in rare instances such as personal or family disaster
Organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, creed, sexual orientation, or national origin
Organizations are also not permitted to solicit contributions on Fibre or TLC property.
Funding Amounts
Fibre and TLC do not publish standard donation or sponsorship amounts. Support likely varies based on request type, community benefit, alignment with giving pillars, available resources, and the scope of the event or program.
Timeline & Review

📅 Required Lead Time: Requests must be submitted at least 90 days before the event or program start date
📅 Review Period: Review and coordination may take up to 90 days, not including additional coordination time
📅 Decision Process: All decisions are final
Applicants should submit well in advance, especially for sponsorships, events, or requests requiring staff volunteer coordination.
Application / Request Process
All requests must be submitted through the online request form on Fibre and TLC’s Community Commitment page. Requests are no longer accepted at financial services centers.
Applicants should be prepared to complete the application in one visit. Required information includes:
Full organization name and contact information
Organization address, email, phone number, and website
Organization’s banking relationship with Fibre or TLC, if any
Tax ID/EIN
Mission statement
History of involvement with Fibre or TLC
Other sources of funding received, such as community foundations or larger funders
County where the organization or event will impact people
Type of support requested
Sponsorship package or sponsorship level documents, if requesting sponsorship support
Additional supporting materials, such as event flyers, budgets, or marketing examples, are optional but encouraged.
