What This Program Funds

Flying Fish provides product donations only — not monetary grants.

In-kind donations may include:

1. Fundraisers & Galas

  • Charity auctions

Events must comply with all alcohol laws and permitting requirements.

Note: Flying Fish does not donate to events involving children as the primary audience, due to alcohol regulations.

Eligibility

Organizations must:

  • Be a registered nonprofit organization

  • Be able to legally accept alcohol donations in their state

  • Use all donated beer for charitable fundraising or community benefit

  • Be located within Flying Fish’s service region

Ineligible requests include:

  • Individuals

  • Events primarily for minors

  • Organizations unable to meet alcohol service requirements

  • Requests outside state legal guidelines

  • Monetary donation requests


Funding Amounts

Flying Fish provides in-kind beer donations only.

Donation quantity depends on:

  • Event size

  • Expected attendance

  • Purpose and charitable impact

  • Inventory and legal limits

No financial contributions are offered.


Deadline

Requests are accepted year-round, but MUST be submitted:

  • At least 30 days before the event date

Events requiring permitting or special-use licensing should apply earlier.


Geographic Focus

Primarily supports nonprofits located in regions where Flying Fish beer is distributed, with a strong focus on New Jersey and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic area.


Application Process

  1. Visit the Flying Fish donation request page

  2. Complete the online request form

  3. Provide:

    • Organization mission and nonprofit status

    • Event details and purpose

    • Expected attendance

    • How the beer will be used legally (sales, sampling, raffle, etc.)

    • Required permits (if applicable)

  4. Submit at least 30 days before the event

  5. Flying Fish reviews requests and replies via email

All donation requests must be submitted through the online form.
