Eligible Support Types
- Corporate donations and sponsorships
- Foundation grants for qualifying nonprofit programs
- Event-related sponsorships (requests must be submitted at least 60 days in advance)
Eligibility & Preferences
Eligible organizations must:
- Be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (or equivalent)
- Operate in or directly serve a Generac community
- Align with Generac’s giving priorities
- Offer programs and services using non-discriminatory practices
Ineligible Requests
The Generac Foundation generally does not support:
- Individuals or personal fundraisers
- Religious organizations or congregation-only programs
- Political, labor, or fraternal organizations
- Private or family foundations
- Travel expenses, mission trips, or conference attendance
- Multi-year commitments
- Tuition scholarships
- Third-party fundraisers
- Capital campaigns or endowments
- Donations of Generac products or funding to purchase Generac products

Generac does not publish standard award amounts. Funding levels vary based on alignment with priorities, geography, and available resources.
