Eligible Support Types

Corporate donations and sponsorships
Foundation grants for qualifying nonprofit programs

Eligibility & Preferences

Eligible organizations must:

Be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (or equivalent)
Operate in or directly serve a Generac community
Align with Generac’s giving priorities
Offer programs and services using non-discriminatory practices

Ineligible Requests

The Generac Foundation generally does not support:

Individuals or personal fundraisers
Religious organizations or congregation-only programs
Political, labor, or fraternal organizations
Private or family foundations
Travel expenses, mission trips, or conference attendance
Multi-year commitments
Tuition scholarships
Third-party fundraisers
Capital campaigns or endowments
Donations of Generac products or funding to purchase Generac products

Generac does not publish standard award amounts. Funding levels vary based on alignment with priorities, geography, and available resources.
