Funding Priorities
All grant requests must align with one of the following three focus areas:
- Education
- Health
- Social Services
In addition to mission alignment, funded projects should help:
- Increase Greif brand recognition and reputation, and/or
- Support talent recruitment and colleague retention
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for funding, organizations must:
- Be an established 501(c)(3) charitable organization
- (Or an international equivalent outside the U.S.)
- Operate in or serve communities where Greif has operations
- Align with one of Greif’s three focus areas
- Demonstrate a clear community benefit
Ineligible Requests
Greif does not make grants to:
- Individuals
- Endowment funds
- Church building or operating funds
- Building or operating funds of elementary schools or public high schools
