Harris Teeter supports nonprofit organizations in the communities where its stores are located through charitable contributions and in-kind donations. The company has established clear priorities to guide its giving while remaining open to requests from all registered 501(c)(3) organizations.

Donation requests are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Corporate Contributions Committee.

  • Deficit reduction or operating reserves

Timeline & Review

  • Requests are reviewed in the order received
  • Review period may take up to six weeks
  • Not all requests can be approved

All donation requests must be submitted through Harris Teeter’s online donation request system. Applicants should clearly outline the organization’s mission, community impact, and how the contribution will be used.
