Eligibility & Preferences
Kroger considers requests from 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organizations. Organizations must meet IRS requirements and are verified through Guidestar Charity Check. Kroger notes that eligible organizations are not guaranteed funding, and awards may be made at a different amount than requested.
Ineligible Requests
Kroger does not make donations to:
Individuals
Travel expenses
Political campaigns
Sectarian or religious organizations serving only their own members or supporters
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, age, mental or physical ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity and/or expression
Funding Amounts
Kroger does not publish standard grant amounts. Funding levels vary based on request type, alignment, and available resources.
