Lantheus – Charitable Contributions Program
Organization: Lantheus
About the Funder
Lantheus considers requests for charitable contributions from a broad range of nonprofit organizations. Contributions are permitted only when the recipient is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Lantheus distinguishes charitable contributions from medical education support. If your request is connected to a medical education activity, you must use the appropriate medical education application type instead of the Charitable Contributions pathway.
What This Program Supports
Lantheus charitable contributions are intended to support general fundraising efforts run by eligible charitable organizations.
Eligible Support Types
-
Corporate charitable contributions connected to an organization’s general fundraising effort
-
Donations issued to institutions with a valid Federal Tax ID (checks made to institutions only)
Important rules
-
Requests must be tied to a general fundraising effort, not a request directed only to Lantheus.
-
The request must come from the organization itself, not from an individual physician, pharmacist, or healthcare professional who is not an employee of the charity.
-
A contribution may not be tied in any way to past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing, or recommending of any drug. Any evidence suggesting this will result in rejection and the request may not be resubmitted.
Medical Education Requests
If your request is in connection with a medical education activity (even if your organization is a 501(c)(3)), you must apply using one of these application types instead:
-
Independent Medical Education (IME)
-
Grand Rounds or Journal Clubs

Eligible applicants include:
-
501(c)(3) charitable organizations (with IRS designation)
