  • Chambers of Commerce must work directly with their local Machias Savings Bank branch to explore other funding options

Funding Amounts

  • Donations: As small as $100
  • Grant Awards: Typically $1,000 – $5,000
  • Multiyear Pledges: Historically $100,000 or less, with an average of $25,000

Application Requirements

Applicants should be prepared to:

  1. Complete the full application form with detailed information
  2. Attach supporting materials, such as:
    • Annual impact report
    • Flyers, photos, brochures, or program materials
  3. For 501(c)(3) organizations, include:
    • Copy of IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter
    • Completed W-9 form (required for payment)
