MFFCU does not fund:

  • Organizations or causes outside its service area
  • Individuals seeking funds for personal endeavors
  • Political or partisan activities
  • Organizations without 501(c)(3) status

Review & Selection Process

  • Requests are reviewed on an ongoing basis
  • Funding decisions are made case by case, subject to available funds
  • Only one request per organization per calendar year will be considered

During review, MFFCU considers:

  • Whether the request builds a stronger community
  • How many people will be impacted
  • Who in the community benefits from the support

Selected organizations will be notified if approved.
