Atlanta Braves – In-Kind Donation Program

2 Min Read

Merchandise Donations Supporting Nonprofit Fundraising Events

The Atlanta Braves support nonprofit organizations by providing in-kind donations of Braves merchandise to assist with fundraising events and community initiatives. Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis and must be submitted through the Braves’ official online request portal.

Organization: Atlanta Braves
Support Type: In-kind merchandise donations
Geographic Focus: Primarily Georgia and the greater Southeast region

About the Funder

The Atlanta Braves are committed to giving back to the communities they serve through charitable giving and community engagement. As part of this commitment, the Braves offer donated merchandise to eligible nonprofit organizations to help strengthen fundraising efforts and support community-based causes.

What This Program Supports

The Braves provide donated team merchandise—such as signed or unsigned memorabilia and branded items—for use in:

  • Charity auctions
  • Raffles
  • Fundraising events
  • Community benefit activities

These in-kind donations are intended to help nonprofits raise funds and increase awareness of their missions.

Eligibility & Preferences

To be considered for a donation, organizations must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  • Submit requests through the official Atlanta Braves in-kind donation request form
  • Submit requests well in advance of the event date
  • Clearly describe the fundraising event or community purpose
  • Provide complete organization and contact information, including a physical mailing address

Due to the high volume of requests received, organizations are generally limited to one donation per year, and not all requests can be fulfilled.

Ineligible Requests

The Atlanta Braves do not support:

  • Requests from individuals or for personal fundraising efforts
  • Requests without verified nonprofit status
  • Requests submitted outside the online application process
  • Political or religious fundraising activities

Timeline & Review

📅 Application Timeline: Rolling
📅 Recommended Lead Time: Submit requests at least 6–8 weeks prior to your event
📅 Notification: Only approved requests will be contacted

Application Process

All requests must be submitted online through the Braves’ official in-kind donation portal. Applicants should ensure:

  • All required fields are completed accurately
  • Event details and nonprofit documentation are included

Why This Opportunity Is a Good Fit

This opportunity is a strong fit for:

  • Nonprofits hosting fundraising events, auctions, or raffles
  • Organizations serving communities in Georgia and the Southeast
  • Groups seeking in-kind support rather than financial grants

The Atlanta Braves’ In-Kind Donation Program provides valuable merchandise support to help nonprofits strengthen fundraising outcomes and community impact.
