New York Mets – Donation Request Program

2 Min Read

In-Kind Merchandise Donations Supporting Nonprofit Fundraising Events

The New York Mets support nonprofit organizations by providing in-kind donations of Mets merchandise for use in fundraising events and community initiatives. Donation requests are reviewed on a rolling basis and must be submitted through the Mets’ official online donation request form.

Organization: New York Mets
Support Type: In-kind merchandise donations
Geographic Focus: Primarily New York City, Long Island, and the greater Tri-State area

About the Funder

The New York Mets are committed to strengthening the communities they serve through charitable giving and community engagement. As part of this commitment, the Mets provide donated merchandise to eligible nonprofit organizations to support fundraising efforts that benefit local communities.

What This Program Supports

The Mets provide donated team merchandise—such as signed or unsigned memorabilia and branded items—to be used for:

  • Charity auctions
  • Raffles
  • Fundraising events
  • Community benefit activities

Donations are intended to help nonprofits raise funds and increase engagement around their missions.

Eligibility & Preferences

To be considered, organizations must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  • Submit requests through the official New York Mets donation request form
  • Submit requests at least 6–8 weeks prior to the event date
  • Be hosting an event or activity with a clear fundraising or community benefit purpose
  • Provide complete organization and event details, including a physical mailing address

Due to the volume of requests received, not all requests can be fulfilled, and organizations are typically limited to one donation per year.
